Celebrated Ghanaian actor, Daniel Nartey has disclosed that he is the man behind Nigerian actress Patience Ozorkwor’s first visit to Ghana.
According to Daniel Nartey, he had a pivotal role in encouraging Patience Ozorkwor to explore the beauty and tranquility of Ghana. The iconic Nigerian actress, also known as Mama G in the Nollywood industry, had reached out to him seeking information about the country’s peacefulness and its rich cultural heritage.
In a recent interview on Y 107.9 FM’s “Ryse n Shyne” with Brown Berry, Mr. Nartey said, “Mama G was curious to know how peaceful the country was and everything about the Ghanaian culture that they were hearing of back then in Nigeria. She wanted to see for herself what Ghana had to offer, not only in terms of its picturesque landscapes but also in the warmth and hospitality of its people.”
“I convinced her to come and she loved it here,” he added. The visit proved to be a transformative experience for the Nollywood veteran, as she fell in love with the vibrant Ghanaian culture and its people. Her journey to Ghana not only led to a memorable acting experience but also established strong bonds between the Nigerian and Ghanaian entertainment industries.
