Ghanaian female vocalist, Jane Afia Boafowaa Awindor has disclosed her originality as the reason behind her evergreen presence in the music industry.
The 3Network ranked Influential Female musician, began her music journey and embraced stardom as a musician at a very early age.
Efya shed light on her intentional efforts as a pace setter of specific music genres in the Ghanaian music industry while speaking in an interview on Y107.9FM’s Ryse N Shyne with host Brown Berry X Dj Loft which in hand makes her stand out as one of one. “I think I created my own lane and in that sense, I am the only one in it.”
The ‘Best In Me’ hitmaker revealed that her choice to create her own lane was inspired by her desire to emancipate herself from assuming suited lifestyles for musicians in the industry. “I don’t have to lie to anyone or try to be someone I am not.” she stated.
Efya Nokturnal mentioned that she liked to express her true personality in making her music which maintains the authenticity of her music in all records she releases.
