DJ Ganj, one of Ghana’s hottest DJs from Ghana’s youth-oriented station Y107.9FM, has been awarded Record Promoter of the Year at the 2023 Guinness Ghana DJ Awards.
As the official DJ of the Myd Morning Radio Show, he is known for his ingenious musical mixing that keeps listeners entertained. DJ Ganj is widely known for his great musical records such as “Gbo” which featured Novo and Broni with Possi Gee as the producer.
The Annual Guinness Ghana DJ awards held at the Grand Arena, Ghana International Conference Center was created to celebrate and appreciate the talents of Disc Jockeys (DJs) as well as to foster the development of the Ghana music industry by rewarding and celebrating Radio, Mobile and Club Disc Jockeys who have excelled in their fields of endeavor.
Speaking about his award, DJ Ganj stated: “I am really elated for winning this, it has always been my dream and being acknowledged for your passion is excitement in double fold. I want to appreciate my team at YFM for their love and support that keeps me going. To my fans, I say a very big thank you, I wouldn’t have reached this far in my career without you”
Programmes Manager of YFM Accra, Eddy Blay on his part expressed his excitement on DJ Ganj’s award and wished him the best in his career journey.
