Ghanaian DJ Millzy has hit a major social media milestone, becoming the most followed Ghanaian DJ on TikTok with a little to 150,000 followers. To commemorate this achievement, the official DJ of Y107.9 FM’s popular “Dryve of your Lyfe” show has relaunched his famous mix series called “Pine & Jinja Mix.”
The inaugural installment, “Pine & Jinja Mix 001,” dropped today, offering a unique cultural experience that blends music with a curated vibe.
Described as a “balcony mix session with selected group of people,” the series promises to deliver a fresh sound every other month, culminating in a live event in December.
Short video reels from the project have already generated a massive buzz on TikTok, accumulating over 1 million views in just one week.
Joining DJ Millzy, known as “Pine,” on this venture is MC EL CHAPO, who takes on the persona of “Jinja.” Together, they aim to create an immersive musical journey that celebrates Ghana’s vibrant culture.
While the audio version of “Pine & Jinja Mix 001” is now available, fans can look forward to the video edition, set to premiere on YouTube next week.
