Rising Nigerian artist and Gold River signee, Cznbaby, has officially announced the release of his debut EP, “Burnt Honey.” The Afro-pop infused project which features four captivating tracks, is a solo endeavour that not only highlights Cznbaby’s extraordinary talent but also marks his emergence as a powerful new voice in the Nigerian music industry.
‘Burnt Honey’ is more than just an EP; it’s a journey through the depths of emotion and experience, masterfully crafted through Cznbaby’s unique storytelling and vocal prowess. Each track stands as a testament to his ability to weave intricate narratives that resonate deeply with listeners.
Cznbaby captures the essence of his experiences with a seamless blend of Dancehall, Pop, Soul and Afrobeats. The name ‘Burnt Honey’ was inspired by the bittersweet twist in the tale—a typical Afro love story with a unique spin. The EP follows the narrative of a boy who meets a girl and tries to win her over. However, instead of satisfying his desires, the girl continuously teases and leads him on, leaving him in a pool of frustration.
