Jamaican dancehall artist Grace Latoya Hamilton, popularly known as Spice, has credited her global success to her lifestyle of prayer and hard work.
The 2022 Grammy nominee for Best Reggae Album made this known during an interview with YFM Ghana, during her donation event with MYO Global Foundation at La Anglican Basic School.
Reflecting on her journey to stardom, Spice revealed how her resilience and determination helped her navigate the challenges of the music industry. “I will definitely say it’s through prayer and hard work. I am a God-fearing woman, and I believe that prayer and hard work conquer all,” she stated.
Now celebrating 25 years in the music industry, Spice continues to make significant strides globally. She urged aspiring artists, particularly women, to stay true to their vision and embrace their uniqueness. “It’s all about being yourself; just be yourself and focus on your dreams. Once you put in the work, you will achieve it. I started as a little girl with my dreams, and today I am living it.”
On November 22, 2024, Spice joined MYO Global Foundation to distribute essential educational resources and personal care items to students at various schools within the La Anglican cluster, including La Anglican Basic School, La Anglican 1 Junior High School, La Anglican 2 Junior High School, and Anglican AME A Primary School.
