Nyansa Kasa, a platform for inspirational quotes and wisdom, officially launched on YFM, Ghana’s leading youth-oriented radio station, on the Myd Morning Radio Show with host Rev. Erskine.
The launch featured a special guest appearance by Professor Douglas Boateng, the scriber behind Nyansa Kasa.
Nyansa Kasa, which translates to “words of wisdom” in the local Ghanaian dialect, was born out of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2019. During this challenging time, Professor Douglas Boateng began sharing inspirational quotes and wisdom with some colleagues, emphasizing that even in adversity, opportunities can arise. The response was overwhelming, with many suggesting that his words must reach a broader audience.
Today, Nyansa Kasa has grown exponentially, reaching an estimated one million readers worldwide. The platform’s quotes, carefully crafted by Professor Boateng, are motivated by his observations of the global environment, personal experiences, amongst others
The impact of Nyansa Kasa has been profound, with countless lives transformed through its inspirational content. Professor Boateng shared, “Nyansa Kasa has changed lives, redirected careers, saved marriages, and fostered meaningful relationships. It is my desire to inspire the youth to build the right structures for our future leaders.”
The partnership between Nyansa Kasa and YFM is a strategic one, leveraging the radio station’s vast reach and influence among Ghana’s youth. Professor Boateng emphasized, “YFM is one of the biggest brands on the continent, targeting the youth, who are the future of our country. I believe YFM has the power and platform to inspire the youth to do what is right for society.”
Starting Monday, December 23rd, Nyansa Kasa will air on YFM’s Myd Morning Show, Monday to Friday, at 9:00 am. Listeners can tune in for a daily dose of inspiration, and quotes will be posted on YFM’s social media pages weekly. Interactive listeners will be rewarded for their loyalty to the brand.
“This initiative has the potential to make a significant impact, not just in Ghana, but across Africa,” said Professor Boateng.
