Guinness Ghana Breweries has launched its consumer-inspired, ‘Make It Yours’ Campaign, setting the spotlight on the unveiling of the all-new Guinness Smooth.
The official outdooring of the new beverage released by the brewery giant, was held on Wednesday March 5, at the MAD Skyz Lounge in East Legon with a number of socialites and public figures to join Guinness celebrate this feat.
Marketing Manager at Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited, Sabina Manu was highly elated on many achievements by Guinness, but particularly excited about the smooth new release, touting it as the symbol of an era for new opportunities through creativity and ingenuity.
The Make It Yours campaign, she said, highlights the profound commitment of Guinness to create a deep bond between consumers and always be a symbol of togetherness and unity in every society throughout all generations. Raising a toast to new bold new ideas, she said. “Guinness Smooth is more than a beer, it’s a canvas for new ideas. We always believe in the power of craft pushing boundaries, and sparking meaningful connection and with the Make it Yours campaign we are excited to see how the next generation across Africa will define style, culture and community in their own unique way.” she said.
In an exclusive engagement with yfmghana.com Sabina Manu revealed that the Guinness Smooth beer sees a second coming as a reinvented version of one which was released some years back – a decision she said was premised by the ever-changing needs and desires of consumers’ for something fresh and vibrant. “…we wanted to come up with a liquid that was really smooth for consumers, something that a wider group of consumers could enjoy, a lower ABV still in that perfect 330 ml Guinness glass bottle.” she explained to yfmghana.com.
The Make It Yours campaign launched by Guinness Ghana Breweries will continue with a list of activities to amplify the wave of diversity and creativity that is quickly moving across the African continent, ready to amplify the inclusivity in society together with all young dream chasers and impact makers in the new generation.
