Glorious Women on the Go (GWOGO), an affiliate of the Women’s Fellowship of the Christian Worship Centre, Celebration Chapel, Teshie, committed to empowering all people especially, women and children of all walks of life and aiding them in overcoming challenges faced in all facets of their lives is proud to announce its annual summit, slated for Saturday, October 18th, 2025, at the Christian Worship Centre, Celebration Chapel, Teshie.

This year’s highly anticipated half-day event anchored on the theme: ‘The Mask We Wear: Understanding Social Media’s Influence on Identity, Values, and Dignity, aims to bring together thought leaders, professionals, and the wider community for an engaging dialogue on social media’s influence on identity and values.

The theme is set to contribute to the conversation on one of the most pressing issues of our time — the powerful and often subtle ways social media shapes personal identity, cultural values, and self-worth in modern society.

The conference will feature a distinguished lineup of speakers, including Professor Abena Animwaa Yeboah-Banin; Dean of the School of Information and Communication, University of Ghana, Legon, a renowned academic and thought leader, who brings a wealth of knowledge on media, communication, and societal development. As the keynote speaker, her address will set the tone for a thought-provoking and action-oriented summit.

Other speakers with diverse experiences from the corporate, digital, and entrepreneurial worlds poised to grace the occasion are : Tracy Kyei Odonkor; Tracy Kyei – Head, Marketing – IMC Strategy, Samsung Ghana, Eli Daniel-Wilson; Regional E-Business Lead, Central and West Africa Region at Publicis Groupe and Nicholas Bortey; CEO Liranz Consulting Group, with Lady Rev. Cassandra Quaye; President of GWOGO and host of the summit; known for her dynamic leadership and unwavering commitment to the empowerment of all especially women and children. Together, they will unpack the challenges and opportunities presented by today’s digital culture.

Speaking ahead of the summit, the conference convener, Lady Rev. Cassandra Quaye, expressed her excitement in hosting this year’s GWOGO Summit, which provides a platform to reflect on how social media impact’s identity, dignity, and core values, “Our goal is to empower individuals to navigate digital spaces with authenticity while staying true to values that underpin our moral fibre as a people.”

Since its inception, the GWOGO Summit has become a platform for transformation and empowerment, sparking conversations that inspire participants to live purpose-driven lives.

The 2025 edition promises to be an impactful gathering of voices, experiences, and ideas, equipping participants with insights to embrace their true identity beyond the masks of social media.

GWOGO is committed to empowering all people especially, women and children of all walks of life and aiding them in overcoming challenges faced in all facets of their lives. In order to achieve this, an annual event is held to bring together these categories of people and other interested stakeholders to interact with seasoned speakers on topical issues prayerfully chosen for the summit.
