Ghanaian singer-songwriter Ehu has released her debut project, “Time”, a four-track EP that fuses Afrobeats with contemporary R&B.
A pharmacist by profession, Ehu has quietly nurtured her music over the past six years, shaping a sound that reflects both personal experience and cultural grounding. Her stage name, inspired by her grandmother, embodies legacy, strength, and spiritual depth.
Sung in a mix of Ga and English, “Time” traces the emotional spectrum of intimacy, self-reflection, and release. The EP opens with themes of affirmation and connection before unfolding into a tender narrative of letting go. Ehu’s vulnerability and vocal range anchor the project, making each song deeply resonant.
With this release, Ehu positions herself within Ghana’s growing alté and Afro-R&B movement, bringing an honest and healing perspective to the scene.
“Time” signals the arrival of a voice that blends tradition with modern storytelling, offering listeners both depth and relatability.
