In a recent soul-stirring episode of MMRS (Modern Morning Radio Show), celebrated gospel sensation Efua Black sat down with the charismatic host Marv on Y97.9fm to talk about her latest release “Testify” featuring Diana Hamilton and the daunting task of fulfilling a divine calling.
While the conversation touched on her upcoming projects and the state of the Ghanaian gospel industry, it was her profound take on divine provision that has set social media ablaze.
During the interview, Marv questioned the singer on how she manages the immense financial and logistical pressure that comes with being an independent gospel artist in today’s competitive landscape. Many artists struggle with the “business” side of ministry, but Efua Black’s perspective was refreshingly spiritual.
“When God gives you a task, He doesn’t expect you to carry it alone,” she told Marv. “As a gospel musician, your work is a partnership with the Heavens.”
The highlight of the interview came when Efua addressed the fear many upcoming ministers feel for organizing event. She emphasized that if the vision is truly from God, the resources are already “in the mail,” often delivered through the hands of men.
“God will always bring you helpers,” she stated confidently.
“You may not have the money in your account today, but He will touch the hearts of people strategists, financiers, and supporters to ensure the task He has given you is executed.”
