Ghana’s number one urban and youth radio station, Y102.5FM-Kumasi has officially confirmed the return of the much-loved Ankaase Lakeside Party, and this year, it’s coming back bigger, stronger, and louder with award-winning rapper Kweku Smoke headlining the 2026 edition.
Set for Easter Monday, April 6, 2026, the annual lakeside experience will once again transform Ankaase, on the shores of Lake Bosomtwe, into the ultimate party destination in the Ashanti Region.

Now in its seventh year, the Ankaase Lakeside Party has grown into one of the most prominent lake events in the Ashanti Region, consistently featuring some of the biggest names in Ghanaian music. Over the years, the stage has hosted stars such as Fameye, Strongman, S3fa, Eno Barony, Yaa Pono, Kweku Flick, and Yaw Tog, among others.
This year, fans made their voices heard and YFM listened. “Our listeners have spoken, and we’ve heard them loud and clear. The main artiste on the bill for the 2026 Ankaase Lakeside Party is Kweku Smoke,” Events Lead for Y102.5FM-Kumasi, Ernest Opoku stated.
Known for his high-energy performances and street anthems, Kweku Smoke is expected to deliver an electrifying show that will set the lakeside ablaze.
YFM Kumasi is once again making transportation convenient for patrons. In partnership with Adehyɛ Buses, shuttle services will be available for those who prefer an organized ride to the venue. Partygoers who wish to drive can also make their own arrangements to the location.
Tickets for the 2026 Ankaase Lakeside Party are going for a cool GH¢100, promising unmatched value for an unforgettable Easter experience.

Ernest further expressed appreciation to the District Chief Executive for Bosome Freho, Charles Appiah-Kubi, and the District Coordinating Director, Michael Agyei (Esq) for their support and shared vision for the area.
According to the team, their engagements with the district leadership have been refreshing and forward-thinking.
“They are visionary leaders who understand exactly what we want to achieve with this event. From the conversations we’ve had, it’s clear that in the next two to three years, Ankaase is poised to become one of the top tourism destinations in the country,” Ernest noted.
