Kumasi’s No.1 English and No. Youth radio brand, Y102.5FM Kumasi (a member of the YFM Triangle), climaxed the Easter festivities with a premium, curated, and highly anticipated Ankaase Lakeside Party.
The event, which stood out as the highlight of the Easter celebrations in the Ashanti Region, saw Ghanaians from within and beyond the region troop in their numbers to experience a lakeside concert like no other.
Over the years, the YFM Ankaase Lakeside Party has built a strong reputation, becoming one of the most anticipated events on the nation’s entertainment calendar, and this year was no exception.
From the early hours of the day, large crowds poured into the venue to immerse themselves in the full Ankaase Experience. YFM curated a wide range of activities, with revellers enjoying premium lakeside attractions such as soccer, swimming, boat rides, and a myriad of other fun-filled experiences.
YFM’s lineup of DJs and hypemen kept the energy alive throughout the day, delivering electrifying sets that had the crowd raving nonstop and constantly asking for more.
The peak of the event came when Kweku Smoke, took to the stage. He received a rousing welcome in his home city, with the audience singing along word-for-word to his songs.
Kweku Smoke delivered back-to-back hits, thrilling fans with electrifying performances of favourites such as Agyekum, Adu The Borga, Young Boy, and Kweku Playman, before topping it off with an explosive encore of his chart-topping tracks.
