Ghanaian highlife singer Fameye has described his music as truth-driven, aligning closely with the values often associated with the gospel.
The award-winning musician, in a viral interview, revealed that his songs are crafted with deep spiritual significance, despite the upbeat and high-pitched rhythms that may accompany them. Referencing one of his popular records, he said, “A song like Very Soon, is very spiritual because even how the song came out was through spiritual encounter.”
Beyond his creative process, Fameye noted that his music shares a strong connection with gospel teachings, particularly through the life lessons and messages embedded in his lyrics.
“I may not be a pastor, but my music is built on truth and since truth is the gospel, I’m already doing God’s work through my songs,” he stated.
Very Soon was released in 2025 and went on to become one of his most notable songs.
