The San Antonio Spurs are heading to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2014 after defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder 111-103 in Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals.
Led by superstar Victor Wembanyama who was named as the Western Conference Finals MVP, the Spurs produced a composed performance on the road in Oklahoma City to clinch the series 4-3 and book their place in the championship series.
The victory sets up an NBA Finals showdown between the Spurs and the New York Knicks, who are making their first Finals appearance since 1999.
Game 1 of the NBA Finals is scheduled for June 3.
