Michelle Otchere, Founder and CEO of The Content Studio Ghana, has been named among the 2026 Y Power Icons, joining a distinguished group of young Ghanaians being recognised by YFM for their work, influence and impact.
The recognition places Otchere among 30 young Ghanaians being celebrated as part of the 2026 edition of YFM’s annual Y Power Icons initiative, which spotlights young people pushing boundaries, creating opportunities and shaping the future of Ghana across different sectors.
Launched in 2022, Y Power Icons was created by YFM as a platform to deliberately shine a light on young Ghanaians whose work is making a difference in their industries and communities. Each year, the initiative identifies and celebrates 30 young people whose ideas, achievements and influence demonstrate the growing impact of Ghana’s youth.
For the purposes of Y Power Icons, YFM defines young Ghanaians as persons 35 years and below, a threshold aligned with the youth demographic recognised by Ghana’s National Youth Authority and the African Union.
As Ghana’s No.1 youth and urban media brand, YFM has a unique connection with this demographic and has chosen to use its platforms to highlight young people who are not only succeeding in their respective fields but are also creating opportunities, challenging convention and contributing to the growth of their communities and industries.
Over the years, Y Power Icons has recognised young Ghanaians making their mark in areas including business, entertainment, technology, media, fashion, healthcare, politics, entrepreneurship and social development.
Previous Y Power Icons have included personalities such as Wode Maya, Dr. George Anagli, Black Sherif, Kobby Kyei, Chef Abby, Kofi Kinaata and Edem Agbana, among others.
For 2026, Michelle Otchere earns her place on the list through her work at the intersection of entrepreneurship, creativity and technology.
