D Black has reacted to Afriyie Wutah’s opinion on Ghanaian artists opening night clubs instead of investing into the music industry.
The statement which came two weeks before the Black Avenue Music capo opened his Onyx Night Club in cantonment seemed like a subliminal shot at D but Black thinks he is a different kind of artist.
Talking to YFM’s “Dryve of Ur Lyfe” the Kotomoshie hitmaker told J.O.E.L,
“I feel everyone is very different. Not every artist should own a label and not every artist should own a night club. I’m not a typical lyricist or dropping punch lines to drive people crazy. I’m a very business minded person and every one can decide what they want to do. This is my path and this is what I want, when you say the industry, I’m not in the music industry. I’m in the entertainment industry. I dealing TV, radio, media to night life. That is my brand . I’m not just an artist.”
D Black is currently promoting his Light Work album.
