Highgrade boss Samini has picked a side in the ongoing Shatta-Pono bout and its obvious the award winning Dancehall act is pitching camp with the UpTown Energy crew.
The Time Bomb hitmaker is a radio interview commenting on the lyrical war said;
“I think its interesting. Beef is beef and so when they bring it on you have to be prepared to defend yourself, turf and your following.” He told HitzFM. “When it comes to this how you control yourself and constructively respond to matters is key as you need to defend your utterances anywhere you go. So far so good.
“Its interesting and we want to hear more. I heard Yaa Pono’s version. I think he went in, he went hard. For the brand Yaa Pono that I know, and the kind of lyrics I was hearing, I wasn’t really surprised. He goes all out and hard. I believe the opposite camp don’t play when it comes to these things. This is quiet interesting so we are looking at seeing the conclusion of this.
“I think they should firm up the lyrics and keep the beef tight so that the fans will be excited and appreciate the dexterity and lyrics and self defense when it comes to poetry.
