The FA Cup third round draw threw up a tasty fixture for Liverpool with a home clash against Merseyside rivals, Everton. And ahead of the game, the club are letting two of their most important players do something pretty crazy.
Liverpool’s ‘Fab 4’ have been on terrifying form.
And the pair of rapid wingers have struck up a brilliant partnership.
But Liverpool will allow both players to attend the Confederation of African Football awards gala in Accra, Ghana.
So, Salah and Mane face a massive 9,000 (!!) mile round trip to Ghana a day before hosting Everton in the cup.
Via Sky Sports, Liverpool have confirmed Salah and Mane will travel courtesy of a private plane which will ensure they get to the event, and still be available for selection the following day, with the game set to kick-off at 7:55 pm (GMT).
The first Merseyside derby of the 2017/18 campaign produced a 1-1 draw with the Egyptian winger netting a superb goal, before an equaliser from Wayne Rooney.
Injury and fitness permitting, will Jurgen Klopp field either men on the night of January 5th?
