Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s agent has commented on the impending deal that could see the Armenian head to Emirates as part of the deal to bring Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United.
Widespread reports say that the former Borussia Dortmund man looks set to be used as a makeweight and Mino Raiola, the Italian super-agent who represents him, admits his client is key to the deal coming to fruition.
“Mkhi has not decided yet. Mkhi is going to do what is best for him. He has two-and-a-half years left on his contract, so it’s his decision.”
It’s common knowledge that United have no issue in meeting Arsenal’s £35 million valuation for Sanchez but a cash-plus-player deal is more appealing to Arsenal, it would appear.
Raiola went on to tell Sky Sports News that, at this point, a deal is not close, but that could change.
