Cristiano Ronaldo might actually leave Real Madrid this summer with intense rumours about a move to Juventus ever gathering pace and a former teammate has given him some advice about joining the Old Lady.
Another summer another transfer rumour with Cristiano Ronaldo, the difference is that this summer it 100% looks like the five time Ballon d’Or winner will actually be moving this time.
Now former Manchester United teammate Patrice Evra has given him some emotional advice, telling fans on an Instagram Live video:
“I thank Juve, because if after Manchester I continued to win and to run, it was thanks to Juve. You should never spit on the plate that fed you, so Juve will always be in my heart.”
As per Football Italia the Frenchman, who played for the Serie A champions for three years, sang the club anthem before adding:
“So Cristiano, I tell you this: make the right choice. You know how much the Italians love you, but it’s a sacrifice. If you go to Juve, it’s to work and to work HARD. This lot, ha, don’t know what a vacation is.
“But that’s the choice. Either you want to continue playing to 2050 or just carry on for a bit. I can tell you this. If you go to Juve, you’ll be at the next World Cup not as a mascot, but as a protagonist. A PROTAGONIST.”
At 33 the move would certainly be Ronaldo’s last big one in Europe but there’s no doubt that he could have a big impact for the Old Lady in the next four years, as they try to win the Champions League.
