Portugal’s Euro 2016 title heroes left France on Monday morning, a matter of hours after securing a dramatic tournament glory over Les Bleus at the Stade de France in Paris.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s side were 1-0 winners over the hosts, a superb long-range strike from substitute Eder in extra time proving to be the only goal of the game.
It sparked wild celebrations for manager Fernando Santos and his team, the party continuing before the squad flew back to Portugal.
Ronaldo, Eder and the rest of Santos’ squad paraded their first ever major tournament title at their hotel on the outskirts of Paris, before boarding a plane home.
