Tiemoue Bakayoko career has hit a new low with AC Milan boss Gennaro Gattuso criticising the player amidst reports he has just six games to save his career in Italy or be sent back to Chelsea.
When Monaco won Ligue 1 and reached the semi finals of the Champions League their players were in high regard as Bernardo Silva and Benjamin Mendy moved to Manchester City, Kylian Mbappe moved to PSG and Tiemoue Bakayoko moved to Chelsea.
He hasn’t started a game yet and according to Corriere dello Sport he has just six games to save his job in Milan. If he fails to improve the Rossoneri will send him back to west London.
Talking about the player Milan boss Gennaro Gattuso said, “Bakayoko has to learn how to get the ball. We must work correctly. It will not be easy.
“One week is not enough to remove the defects of a player. I would have preferred to be managing older, more experienced club players’.”
It’s really bad news for Bakayoko who currently faces the prospect of being back at Stamford Bridge in January, at a club who don’t want him and he won’t get any football until the end of January as he can only play for two clubs a season.
The former Monaco midfielder has definitely had the worst time of things of all his past teammates, although it’s too early to tell for Fabinho’s time at Liverpool.
It’s quite the fall from grace from being one of the biggest prospects in Europe to being unwanted by his loan club and parent club.
