Thomas Partey Has A Nightmare With Gift Car

Footballers are incredible because they manage to perform under extreme pressure every day but the pressure of running a car clearly got to Thomas Partey in front of his teammates at Atletico Madrid.
No one’s pretending for a minute that what sports people do is braver than say a fireman or soldier or anything else like that but it certainly takes testicular fortitude to perform in front of baying fans and a worldwide audience every week.

Sports stars manage to do things that normal human beings couldn’t all whilst under this insane pressure, and people shouting that they could do it better.

In fact there’s only one thing that’s better than watching something in sport go completely right and that is watching it go completely wrong.

Sure Raheem Sterling scoring a panenka penalty on Tuesday night would have been great but watching him put the ball over and Danny Ward laughing in his face was just that much better, unless you’re a Manchester City fan of course.
Which of us doesn’t love a total fail? Well even footballers enjoy them, especially when they happen to a teammate.

Atletico Madrid players were each being given a Hyundai car at the Wanda Metropolitano but Partey couldn’t start his and then nearly drove into the advertising hoarding, his teammates were in hysterics:
