Thierry Henry Suspended As Monaco Coach

AS Monaco have suspended Thierry Henry as manager after a dreadful start to his career as a coach.
Since taking the vacant post at his former club in October, Henry has lost 11 of the 20 games he has been in charge for – scoring 15 goals and conceding a whopping 36.
His four wins so far give him a win percentage of just 20%, with Monaco in 19th place and in the middle of a relegation dogfight.
The low point of his reign so far came on Tuesday when the former Barcelona striker oversaw the principality side lose 3-1 in the French Cup against Ligue 2 Metz, who themselves played a weakened side at the Stade Louis II.
And now, it’s been confirmed in an official statement from the club that Henry will be temporarily relieved of his duties at the Principality club until further notice, with Franck Passi training the players tomorrow.
Henry merely said “rumours are rumours” when asked about the speculation surrounding his future in a press conference but Monaco will make a final decision on whether he will stay on as manager.
Earlier today, the Mirror reported Henry is set to be given his marching orders in the next 48 hours and will be replaced by the man he replaced, Leonardo Jardim.
