Manchester United have reportedly slapped a huge price tag on Paul Pogba’s head to ward off interest from Real Madrid.
Los Blancos have made the France World Cup winner one of their number one targets ahead of the summer transfer window opening.
Pogba appears open to the idea of a transfer after he previously heaped praise on Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane and admitted it’s the dream of every footballer to play at the Bernabeu.
“Like I’ve always said, Real Madrid is a dream for anyone. It’s one of the biggest clubs in the world,” said Pogba, earlier in the season.
“There is also [Zinedine] Zidane as a coach and it’s a dream for anybody who likes football.
“For now, I’m at Manchester. We don’t know what the future holds. I’m at Manchester and I’m happy.”
According to Marca, Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has been told by Manchester United chiefs that the Frenchman will not be allowed to leave on the cheap.
And to ward off Real Madrid, the Old Trafford club would only entertain offers upwards of £130million.
Manchester United signed Pogba from Juventus for £89million back in 2016.
The midfielder’s contract is set to expire in June 2021, but the Red Devils have plans to begin negotiations over a new deal as soon as next month.
