Dani Ceballos explains Jurgen Klopp was reason he snubbed Liverpool for Arsenal

Dani Ceballos has suggested he joined Arsenal over Liverpool because of Jurgen Klopp’s philosophy.
The Real Madrid midfielder was made available for loan in the summer and subsequently linked with a move to a number of top clubs in Europe.

Arsenal won the race for his signature, with then boss Unai Emery welcoming Ceballos to north London for the campaign.
The Spaniard started the season well before a hamstring injury disrupted his progress.
In this time the Gunners sacked Emery and replaced him with former Manchester City assistant manager Mikel Arteta.
Ceballos has played just once under Arteta, in Arsenal’s 2-1 win over Bournemouth in the FA Cup.
The Spaniard recently spoke out about his time at Arsenal to date and referenced the alleged interest in him from Liverpool during the summer transfer window.
Ceballos claims the Reds were interested in landing him, but he picked the Gunners because Emery was very keen to sign him and because he doesn’t suit Klopp’s style of play.
“That a club like Liverpool loves you is a pride, but my decision was to go to Arsenal because Emery grabbed my hand and told me to go together,” said Ceballos.

“Klopp is a great coach but you have to see the game philosophy of each team.
“Right now players of my philosophy of play wouldn’t fit in a team like Liverpool in the best possible way. But that you are related to the greats is because you are doing things right.”
Arsenal are currently in Dubai for warm-weather training during the winter break. When they return the Gunners face Newcastle on Sunday in the Premier League.
