Football to be behind closed doors for months in Spain

‘AS’ state that the government are concerned about the rebound effect that opening stadiums can have in relation to the coronavirus.
Spanish fans- and probably the rest of Europe- will now have to get used to it. Football will be played behind closed doors until further notice.
For some time now, the government has been saying that adaptation to the new life after the coronavirus health emergency will take place gradually and gradually and football will not be spared.
‘AS’ explains that matches will be played behind closed doors for quite a few months. But it isn’t just this season’s ones, also those at the start of next season, since it seems that not until autumn will the Spanish government give the green light to be able to play with fans again.
A decision that will undoubtedly affect fans and clubs, who will no longer receive an income that, while not capital for survival, does help club coffers quite a bit.
It remains to be seen what stance the RFEF president, Luis Rubiales, takes, who had ventured into a Copa del Rey final with Basques coming to Seville and could be forced to play it without fans.
