#YRefresh: Meet the new faces of Ryse and Shyne

Ghana’s number one urban station, Y FM is crystalizing its impact in urban radio by bringing to listeners exciting content from great talents in the broadcasting scenes through the Y Refresh campaign.
The “Y Refresh” is a new campaign by YFM to build an exciting and more successful culture that will keep listeners and community entertained and engaged. The existing exciting programmes have been revamped with electrifying content and great talents while new programming has been added. This initiative is backed by a line-up of great talents and refreshing programmes to entertain listeners.
As part of this initiative, Ghana’s number one urban breakfast show, Ryse and Shyne, has been made over with new host Brown Berry and DJ, DJ Loft who will treat patrons to great content.
Ghanaian presenter and the new host of YFM’s Ryse and Shyne, Joshua Kormla Senuvie better known as Brown Berry, in an interview with Foster Romanus disclosed that joining the Y FM team has exerted positive pressure on him to do better.
“I joined Y FM at a point where the urban culture was solidified. There has been some pressure to be out there but the people around me such as DJ Loft have been of great help”, he said.
He noted that joining Y FM has opened many opportunities for him and that he was ever prepared to bring new energy on board as the station has begun the Y Refresh campaign.
DJ Loft, on his part, acknowledged that joining Ghana’s biggest urban radio station YFM has been of a great boost to his career.
In an interview with Foster Romanus on the Late Nite Celebrity Show, the evergreen DJ noted that Yfm is a big brand that has taken him places as well as been very beneficial to him as a DJ.
Brown Berry and DJ Loft are ready to serve listeners with great content and music every morning from 6am to 9am on the Ryse and Shyne show aired on Y107.9FM.
