Eddy Blay reveals his secret to being a great MC

Programmes Manager of YFM, Eddy Blay also known as Blazay, has revealed his secret to how one can become an expert Master of Ceremonies (MC).
On the Late Nite Celebrity Show on TV with host, Foster Romanus, he said, to be a good MC, you have to be ready to make fun of yourself.
“A lot of people take themselves too seriously when they’re on the set. They want to look cool and all that but sometimes you just have to not take yourself so seriously and give yourself the fans. Be part of the jokes and at the end of the day, you use that energy to turn into introducing the next act”, he shared.
Eddy Blay revealed that his late father was the one who put him in the media space after noticing that he (Eddy Blay) had a great interest in rapping and media stuff.
According to him, his father first gave him the opportunity at one Accra-based TV station to interview people during an audition for a show that they were about to start and that was the genesis of his life as one of the best radio and TV personalities in Ghana.
“I chose this and I might not be the richest guy out there but I’m happy. I like going to work every day. I enjoy the fact that I wake up and I go to work. I enjoy radio, I enjoy TV, I enjoy media. I’m doing what I love and you can’t take that away from me”, Eddy Blay further concluded.
