YUnplugged: I’ve always wanted to be a lawyer; I still do- YFM’s NY DJ reveals

NY DJ, presenter for Y102.5FM Kumasi’s Ryse n Shyne, has disclosed that growing up, he always wanted to be a lawyer and despite the fact that he has spent so many years in the communication field instead, he knows that law is something that he will do one day.
NY DJ was interviewed by Foster Romanus on eTV Ghana’s Late Nite Celebrity Show as part of Y102.5FM Kumasi’s #YUnplugged activation which seeks to promote the new faces of Y Kumasi and firmly plant the brand in the Ashanti region and across Ghana.
He told Foster during the interview that he loves everything about intellectual property and copyright and he keeps learning and reading about it because he knows that it is something he will do at some point in his life. “Even if I don’t practice, I’ll still learn it”, he said.
“It is something that I have great interest in and anyone who knew me even from Senior High School believed that this guy was strictly going to be a lawyer. People say I am too strict and diplomatic. People think that way of me but I just know that it is something that I have a huge interest in and want to pursue”, NY DJ furthered.
He believes also that he is not so far from that dream and with the encouragement he receives from his fellow colleague and host of Shouts on Y (Kumasi), Kwame Scientific, he is sure that he will soon delve into law.
