YFM’s DJ Mic Smith receives four nominations at Ghana DJ Awards

YFM’s avid Disc Jockey, Michael Owusu, popularly known as DJ Mic Smith has been nominated in four categories at the upcoming Ghana DJ Awards.
DJ Mic Smith will battle out with other DJs to win in the categories of event DJ of the Year, Artiste DJ of the Year, DJ Artiste Collaboration of the Year and Overall Best DJ of the Year.
As the official DJ for the hottest drive time show in the capital, Dryve on Y FM, DJ Mic Smith has been recognized for his adroitness in spinning good music for our listening pleasure.
Just last year, the ‘Shutdown King’ as he is popularly known dominated the Ghana Music Awards night by picking up the Best DJ – Greater Accra Region Award.
This year will be no different as he meets tough competition like DJ Vyrusky, DJ Sly and DJ Aroma, among others to prove his superiority.
Besides being a holder of a number of awards, he has been associated with top Ghanaian acts including EL, Stonebwoy, MzVee, Reggie Rockstone, Trigmatic, Stargo, C-real, and Gemini, among others.
Commenting on his nominations, he said: “I am loving this path of history that my great work is putting me on. But, this legendary path won’t be possible without the support of my fans, family and friends. Let’s set another record by winning in these categories”.
Programmes Manager of YFM, Eddy Blay on his part shared that he was impressed with the nominations flowing in for DJ mic Smith.
