Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has explained how the Gunners managed their late comeback from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 at Bournemouth last night.
Arsene Wenger’s side scored three times in the last twenty minutes to snatch a point at the Vitality Stadium, having looked out of the contest early in the second half.
Ramsey admits Arsenal were up against it for much of the match, but feels they were right to carry on playing their game in order to eventually hurt Bournemouth.
‘It’s difficult when you start off like that but we had to continue to play, to show some character out there and be brave by doing the right things,’ the Welshman said afterwards.
‘We managed to come back in the end, but overall we’re disappointed with the way we started the game and the fact we’re only coming away with the point.’
Arsenal will be pleased to have avoided what looked a certain defeat, but now face the prospect of falling eleven points behind league leaders Chelsea, who face Tottenham this evening.
