Ghanaian rapper and entrepreneur Desmond Kwesi Blackmore, popularly known as D-Black has launched an online public petition form to request the return of Ghana’s iconic and decorated forward, Asamoah Gyan.
The ‘Enjoyment Minister’ launched this petition on his Twitter page after Ghana’s abysmal performance and humiliating loss to the AFCON debutants Comoros in their last group fixture.
In the post, the CEO of Black Avenue Musik pleaded with Ghanaians to sign on to his petition and get the former Skipper of the Black Stars back to the squad one more time.
“Pls share and sign this petition for Asamoah Gyan back to lead the BlackStars Team one last time. Thank you ,> https://chng.it/SHBH8N5spt,” the post read accompanied with a screenshot of the petition.
The online petition, monitored by http://yfmghana.com has since recorded over 1,000 signatures from Ghanaians and still counting.
Gyan is the all-time leading goal scorer of the Ghana national team, with 51 goals. He represented Ghana in the FIFA World Cups in 2006, 2010, and 2014.
