Manchester United have thrown a massive spanner in the works today, testing Arsenal’s resolve with a reported £25 million bid for wantaway winger Alexis Sanchez.
Sanchez, who has been linked with a move away from the Emirates for some time, was almost odds-on to join his former manager Pep Guardiola at Manchester City.
But Jose Mourinho’s side have apparently made a last ditch attempt to sign the 29-year-old after City offered £20 million for the player this month.
The 29-year-old’s contract at Arsenal expires at the end of the season and it looks likely that he will move in the January transfer window – but where will he go?
