Antonio Conte is 13/8 to have left Chelsea by the end of the season and is the 6/1 third favourite to be the next Premier League manager to leave his job behind Mauricio Pellegrino at 4/5 and Rafa Benitez at 4/1.
The Blues are 18 points off the pace in the Premier League and the Italian boss now looks more likely than ever to be sent packing. The bookies are offering 1/2 about Conte being sacked before the opening day of next season – a record low for the Premier League winning manager.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Things couldn’t get much worse for Conte and Chelsea right now, and for the first time in the Italian gaffer’s reign, he’s odds-on to leave before the start of next season.”
Meanwhile Joe Crilly of William Hill said: “Conte’s future has been up in the air all season and as their title challenged has faded he has looked more and more disgruntle. We think it is a relatively short price that he will be gone before the end of the season.”
