Former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has come forth to support the famous Ghanaian comic Funny Face during his financial difficulties in a heartwarming display of solidarity.
The renowned comedian recently took to social media to share the harsh realities of his life, revealing that he has been unable to see his children for the past four years due to financial constraints.
Funny Face, whose real name is Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, opened up about losing lucrative brand deals, the support of those who once aided him, and the challenges of making ends meet.
In response to Funny Face’s plea, Asamoah Gyan decided to take action. Gyan posted on his social media account, stating that he had reached out to the comedian and donated GHC1,000 to support him during these tough times.
Expressing empathy for Funny Face’s situation, Gyan called on the general public to contribute to the campaign and offer their support to the comedian. He emphasized that every contribution, regardless of the amount, would make a difference in helping Funny Face navigate through his financial challenges.
