Jamaican dancehall sensation Beenie Man has finally responded to the allegations and claims of his arrest by my Ghanaian security over flouting COVID-19 protocols.
After his energetic and mind-blowing performance at the 2021 edition of the Bhim Concert held on 21st December 2021 at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Center, reports emerged on social media claiming the Dancehall giant escaped mandatory quarantine after testing positive for the COVID-19 virus at the Kotoka International Airport.
In a tweet, Beenie Man debunked claims of he testing positive for the virus and indicated he was fully vaccinated and never tested positive for the condor virus.
“Mi confuse yf 🥴🥴🥴. #Update to my fans who are genuinely reaching out. I have no Covid, never caught covid before, tested NEGATIVE for Covid. Been travelling for the past 6 months Covid free. Fully vaccinated. I guess someone wants me to have Covid. Uno weird yf. 🥴🥴🥴,” the post read.
In a follow-up post, the ‘So Many Gal’ hitmaker applauded the Ghanaian Government, the COVID team at the airport, Stonebwoy and Freedom for their reception. He also described his experience in the country as ‘amazing’ and the best place in the world.
“Ghana was amazing. Love & light to @stonebwoy and the #BhimTeam. The Ghanaian Government, Immigration, Health Team, Small Gad, Freedom, the whole team. #Ghana ah the best place inna the world 🌎. #BhimConcert21 looking fwd to 2022.”
