Ghanaian highlife singer and songwriter, Godfred Cudjoe better known as St. Lennon has extended his gratitude to Burna Boy for motivating him (St. Lennon).
In an interview on Y107.9FM’s Myd Morning Radio Show with host, LJ , he disclosed that he always blamed the retarded progress of his career on inadequate funds and the lack of support from his family and friends. “It got to a point in life where I was talking too much and putting in less work; I was explaining too much; I believed that if I had the money and the support I would surely make progress in my career.”
The ‘Piliipi’ hitmaker noted that he got inspired by Burna Boy’s viral video of him addressing all individuals who talk profusely and have no substance to buttress their many talks. In the viral video the African Giant says, “You go explain taya; no evidence”
St. Lennon stated that his progress as a signee of Lynx Entertainment was made by his hard work and less talk. “After I was signed to Lynx Entertainment I realized that the many explanations to defend my lagging were not necessary; It was about time I showed what I had for people to see what I have and come on board to help.”
