Aduana Stars FC star defender, Caleb Amankwah, has expressed joy in helping the Ghana U-23 side Black Meteors win their training match against Accra Hearts of Oak on Wednesday.
Black Meteors striker Akesse Akesse scored the only goal of the game in the second half to secure the win for the National U-23 side.
Caleb Amankwah who took most set pieces in the match expressed his excitement with Black Meteors’s effort and win. Caleb Amankwah disclosed after the match.
“I’m really excited about this win because going into the game, the focus was to apply what our coach and the technical team have been teaching us in training since we arrived in camp and I’m excited we delivered.
Both teams are preparing ahead of their respective matches as the Black Meteors take on Algeria in the final qualifier for the AFCON U-23 tournament while Hearts of Oak face off with arch-rivals Asante Kotoko in the President’s Cup.
The first half ended goalless with both sides making wholesale changes to their squad in the second half.
