Y97.9FM’s Station Manager and Founder of the Boss Up 100 Foundation, Maxline Chelsy Sey, has earned a nomination at the Mentorship and Volunteerism Excellence Summit and Awards, appearing in the celebrated category of Excellence in Women Empowerment.

Her nomination recognizes years of dedicated mentorship, impactful volunteerism, and her commitment to creating opportunities for young women. Through the Boss Up 100 Foundation, Chelsy Sey has led life-changing empowerment programmes, skills development initiatives and community engagements that continue to inspire growth and leadership among young women across the Western Region and beyond.
In her role as Programmes Manager of YFM Takoradi under Global Media Alliance, she has also championed youth-focused conversations, supported emerging creatives, and used the power of radio to uplift voices and stories that matter.

Reacting to the nomination, Chelsy Sey expressed her appreciation. “This nomination is a reminder of why I do what I do.
