Thierry Henry’s love affair with Arsenal has officially come to an end.
After scoring 175 goals for the club across two spells and taking over as a youth coach upon his retirement, the Frenchman’s time in north London is up.
Arsene Wenger was the man behind the decision after telling Henry he couldn’t juggle a proposed Under-18’s coaching role with Sky Sports punditry.
His departure marks a sad day for all those involved with Arsenal.
Predictably, Henry has released a statement on leaving his beloved club – and it’s sheer class.
