Reminiscing and Continuing the philanthropical legacy of his Father, Nana Quasi-Wusu popularly known as PM is the founder of Ghana’s Promising, Non-Governmental Award winning Organization, PM FOUNDATION.
He’s a professional MC, Humanitarian and the “ Drive Time “ Host on Y97.9fm in Takoradi.
PM Foundation is a registered NGO under the laws of Ghana based in Takoradi and founded on December 1st, 2018 with four years nonstop Annual Donations.
Mission:
-Support the less privileged.
– Support Young, ambitious and passionate Talents/Entrepreneurs with Training and Start Ups.
-Through “Blaklaaa” ie (Proud To Be Black initiative)
(i)Campaign against Skin Bleaching,
(ii) Promote made in Ghana.
(iii) Empower the youth to keep their hustle legal.
PM Foundation’s annual event is “Dine With The Street” which is always hosted in deprived community every December.
Maiden edition (15th December 2018) and Second Edition(14th December 2019) were both held at BU – Takoradi Father’s Home Care (Orphanage).
Third Edition (12th December 2020) was at New Site Takoradi.
The fourth Edition which happened over the weekend on December 11,2021 was held at New – Takoradi, Ase Park, where Ghanaian International Reggae Artiste, SHASHA MARLEY who has also been signed together with PM as brand Ambassadors for One king Mineral Water, graced the event with Electrifying performances alongside Neffgee and PM Dance Crew.
Expectations were exceeded because the Foundation’s target was 1,000 but they had over 1,000 kids trooping in.
They thoroughly went through the well organised steps to make the event a success. Although, it was a bit difficult controlling them.
Activities: Health Screening to Face Painting/Free Make Up for adults, bouncy castle for the kids to play with, meals and soft drinks and pastries shared, tailored African wears given to them as Christmas gifts, musical chairs, dance and Rap battle, and not forgetting the free medical and dental screening given to all and sundry.
Nana Quasi-Wusu, the Founder of PM Foundation said, It was an unforgettable experience of which he will love to do it again and again. The plan is to move to another deprived community next year, God willing. He then motivated the kids by telling them, impossible is nothing, if only you make up your mind to achieve greatness by working towards your dreams and involving God in all your doings. Nana, showed appreciation to all sponsors, supporters and volunteers who made Dine With The Street 21 a success.
The fifth edition of Dine with the street will be held at Effiekuma In December 2022.
