Ghana’s bustling DJ scene saw the 11th edition of the Guinness Ghana DJ Awards honour YFM’s incredible disc jockey, DJ Carcious, as the “DJ Artiste of the Year Collaboration,” in a stunning celebration of musical talent and teamwork.
The accomplished radio personality and official DJ for Y 102.5 FM Kumasi’s “Mid-Morning Radio Show”, Hayford Boahen, known by his stage name DJ Carcious, triumphed in this highly competitive category at Africa’s largest DJ award event. The glittering ceremony took place at the Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Centre, and showcased the pinnacle of talent within the Ghanaian music and entertainment industry.
Competing against other notable contenders like DJ Vyrusky, Kidi & Camido, DJ Bass & Yannick Hooper, DJ Sly King & Kiff No Beat, and DJ Wanzam & Juma Mufasa, DJ Carcious emerged victorious with his collaborative masterpiece, “Esther,” featuring the talented duo Medikal & Bogo Blay.
