Ghana’s number one Urban radio station YFM’s female DJs make waves at the 2023 Guinness Ghana DJ awards nominations.
The most anticipated night in Africa when it comes to DJs and music is right around the corner, and we are ready to celebrate all the nominees from the 2023 Guinness Ghana DJ Awards.
Officially known as the 11th Guinness Ghana DJ Awards powered by Smirnoff, the 2023 Ghana DJ Awards will be held, Saturday, 25th November at the Grand Arena in Accra, the first edition of the show at the venue.
YFM female DJs reign in a male dominated music business, the music industry is constantly evolving and women are gradually bridging the gender gap not only are they oozing with talent, they also have a common goal to make the industry safer, more inclusive and just generally more fun for all women.
Head of Y triangle, Osei kuffour stated that “The DJ space over the years has been dominated by men, but we’ve seen females thrive in that same spaxe. It’s time females are given the same platform and support.
It is refreshing that female DJs are given the opportunity to showcase their talents and as a brand we are elated about these nominations, we wish them all the best and hopefully we scoop home every award.”
The talented YFM Female DJs nominated at the 2023 Guinness Ghana are DJ Kess, one of the poinering DJ figures in Ghana, DJ Nyce,
and DJ Coleda for the Female DJ of the Year category amongst others.
