DJ Mic Smith ‘shutdown’ Boiler Room Ghana Edition

Reigning 3 Music Awards DJ of the year, DJ Mic Smith last Saturday was the toast of the several patrons who throng to the Sandbox beach Club for the Ghana edition of the Boiler Room.
The “Jama” hitmaker who was the official DJ for the event treated the audience with good mix keeping patrons on their feet from the start of the event till early Sunday morning.
Known as the shutdown king, Mic Smith is the co-host of YFM’s flagship radio show and Ghana’s number 1 urban drive time show #DryveonY.
He also currently holds 15 Awards and 100 nominations; awards with 3 Music Awards, 4syte TV for DJ of the year, The Redbull club DJ of the year award and Best Mixtape DJ with Ghana DJ Awards among others.

Beyond the scope of his work at events and clubs, Mic is also a recognized and talented mixtape DJ, with recent releases including his unique Shutdown riddim release in collaboration with Yellow Moon Records which pioneered a new way of Ghanaian DJs collaborating with artists.
He recently released a new single “Jama” which is making massive airwaves in Ghana and Nigeria.
DJ Mic Smith is in contention for the best DJ in the upcoming 3 Music awards.
