DJ Mynor has taken the music world by storm as he becomes the first Ghanaian in history to have his Mixtape Compilation debut on the Billboard Charts. He widely recognized as the official DJ for the music giants, R2Bees.
DJ Mynor, also known as Apaawahene and born Offei Jeffery Moses, becomes one of the first DJs in Africa to reach this milestone, which is yet another triumph for the Ghanaian music industry.
Speaking on this achievement, DJ Mynor said he is most grateful to God for this feat. “It took me by surprise but I also believed in the work I put out there, I’ve been doing this over a decade and I am grateful to my fans. They keep me going and motivated to churn out most mixtapes.”
“I would like to acknowledge all our Afrobeats acts on the continent for their commitment to quality music, as DJs we shall continue to project their work for the world to see. This is a win for Ghana and a big win for all DJs on the continent.” He added
The DJ, who has gained world’s recognition, recently accomplished another feat after he was named DJ OF THE YEAR at this year’s AWEMA (African Wedding Makers Awards).
At this point, one can only presume that DJ Mynor’s potential is limitless because he has proven time and time again that success is always the result of perseverance, consistency, and hard effort, regardless of one’s line of work.
As one of the GREATEST AFRICAN DJS of ALL TIME, DJ Mynor is now a ray of hope for young Africans in the creative industries around the globe.
