Kofi Kinaata has affirmed that there are equally good song writers like himself in the country but it’s so unfortunate that the current generation would also like to listen to something else because of DJs playlists.
Most of such good songs never see the light of day with the fear of either not getting much air play or not being patronized by event organizers and music promoters.
“The kind of songs this generation want to hear be what most of the DJs and artistes are making but I cannot blame them.I blame some of the DJ’s who keep pushing the same sounds.”
Officially premiering his new single, “Things Fall Apart” on the Dryve of Your Lyfe on Takoradi base YFM, the “Susuka” hit maker told PM that, he has resolved not be following the crowd but will take his time to deliver such good songs that will satisfy both the young and the old.
“The calls and comments I have received from some mothers since Things Fall Apart was released is really encouraging; They are not saying its a nice song, they are asking for God’s blessings for me. He revealed.
According Kofi Kinaata, “People must be able to relate to songs since that is the purpose of music. The response I am receiving is an indication I am gradually getting there.”
Kinaata expresses his profound gratitude to his fans most especially the people of Takoradi and it’s environs for the massive support to Team Move and always rallying behind him at all times.
