Ghanaian Afrobeats singer Kelvyn Brown, popularly known as Kelvyn Boy, revealed that his music is naturally enjoyed by listeners.
The ‘Vero’ banger genius made these remarks during a conversation with Kojo Manuel about the success of his newly released track Man Down in an interview on Y107.9FM’s Dryve of Your Lyfe.
Kelvyn Boy explained that his songs effortlessly become popular without any need for coercion or targeted influence. “The people liked the song right from the day it was released; it’s quite evident. But the thing is, you can’t force the music on the people, you can only do your best,” Kelvyn Boy said, commenting on his latest hit.
He also noted that his songs are enjoyed by many over time, even if he doesn’t always receive the recognition he deserves for consistently releasing hits. “I am used to it; that’s why I lay back, take my time, and remain patient because I know that time will come. Since day one, I have never gotten the hype I am supposed to get. But I am always in demand, always booked, and always making money.”
