The English Premier League where Christian Atsu made his trade playing for Newcastle and Chelsea pays tribute to the former Ghanaian winger following his demise during the Turkey earthquake.
Atsu’s agent earlier today confirmed the body of the player has been found dead following a 12-day search amid the rubble of the earthquake that has devastated Turkey and Syria.
Ghanaians have been left heartbroken since the announcement of Atsu’s sad news as the English Premier League together with Chelsea legend, John Terry lead tributes to the player.
“We are deeply saddened by the news Christian Atsu lost his life in the devastation of the earthquakes that have hit Turkey and Syria,” the official account of the EPL tweeted – while former teammate John Terry’s tweet read, ” RIP my friend.”
